I am going to rebuild my computer this weekend will the dual boot option.

I'll have a 620gb hard drive. I want to install Windows XP first then Ubuntu.

If I have files, pictures etc. stored in My Documents in the Window XP partition, can those files etc. be accessed when booted into Ubuntu? And visa versa?

Thanks

Ubuntu will see the Windows files just fine. You'll need this driver for Windows to see Ubuntu's EXT3 filesystem:

Or just browse to your window's hard drive via a Nautilus. It supports ntfs
