I installed Xubuntu 8.10 and I like it but...the darn screensaver is wacky. How do I disable it totally?
When I go to the "Settings" panel and click on Screensaver I uncheck "activate screensaver when computer is idle." I put it on 'blank screen.' In the "regard the computer as idle after:" there is no way to choose 'never'. Even when I push it all the way to 2 hours it still comes on in about 10 minutes or so.
I don't use screensavers, don't want it or need it. I cannot figure out how to totally disable it. It's annoying because it'll pop on while I'm watching a video and that's that. I've never had trouble (that I can remember) when using Ubuntu or Kubuntu but I like Xubuntu.
Please...can anyone tell me how to fix this (disable)? I'd really appreciate the help.
Thank you.
