I would like to use my Ubuntu server to back up all my windows PCs on my network. I have done some searching and found some older articles on rsync and some others.

My question is should I just map a ubuntu share out to each of the Pcs and run a native windows back up client. Or should I share out each Pcs c drive and have ubuntu back them up.

I am sure many people have similar setups and I would like to know what the best and easiest way would be.

Thank you in advance

I am not 100% sure, but it sounds like the following page might be of some help to you:

Not a problem. If you just do a search on the Ubuntu main page, it will query the wiki, docs, forums, etc for you. Always a good place to start. :-)
