Hi
after the upgrade from Ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10 I have some problem with my camera that I used like web-cam on Cheese and SkyPe too.

The problem appears immediately when I plug-in it in the USB and I have the message showed in the attachment.

If I explore the "Removable Media" I see two  Apitek camera like the OS try to mount it two times.
If I would like to explore the device to take the pictures I haven't problem.

But if I open Cheese or SkyPe my device is not avaiable :(

I also tried to start my PC with the Ubuntu live CD of 8.04 and it works.
In the same test with the live CD of 8.10 version it not works.

Have I only the solution to downgrade my system to 8.04 version?

Regards

Hi guy
anyone have any suggestions?
I tried also my camera in another PC with Ubuntu 8.10 and I have the same behavior.

Is it a big bug of Ubuntu 8.10? Is not it solved?
Is the only solution to come-back on the 8.04 version?
It would be a lot of job...

Regards
