View Full Version : [all variants] Video editing software

Does Ubuntu, or maybe even more in general Linux, have a video-editing software which is to be compared with a Corel Video Studio, Corel Media Studio Pro, Pinnacle Studio, Adobe Premiere?
I did hear there must be some programs but didn't find yet what I am looking for? What am I looking for? A "semi-professional" piece of equipment with which I can capture, edit, make menu's and burn it all to DVD.
Does this exist on Linux grounds? Please say yes and make it possible for me to fully get rid of Windows, since this is the only reason I still have dual boot.

I am not sure if avidemux is what you want but at least give it a look. It should be in the repos.
