64bit desktop edition ubuntu 8.10 is included in the same one CD come the 32bit version desktop edition ? samely kubuntu 64bit desktop edition ?

No, the 64 bit editions come on separate media.

Sadly there exists no FREE 64bit desktop CDs. :(

There exists 64bit DVDs for a cost. These DVDs include both 64bit and 32bit Ubuntu.

Here are a couple of the options to get the 64bit Ubuntu Desktop:

Free - download or get disk from a friend
Not-free - Order a DVD from an online supplier (Cononical Store: Kubuntu-8.10-DVD (http://shop.canonical.com/product_info.php?products_id=380) & Ubuntu-8.10-DVD (http://shop.canonical.com/product_info.php?products_id=381))
Not-free - Buy a magazine or book that includes a DVD

Please look at lse123's second post. lse123 (I believe) wanted to know if the 64bit Desktop disks are available for free through ShipIt.

And the 64bit Desktop Installer is not available for free through ShipIt. The 64bit Desktop Installer is available on DVD (with 32bit included on the same disk). But the DVD version is not available for free with free shipment (that I have seen).

64bit Ubuntu 8.10 is 699 megs.
64bit Kubuntu 8.10 is 696 megs.

May have a USB STICK with two partitions bootable, to choose from, one Kubuntu and other ubuntu ?
when boot from live cd or usb , to install in memory I use ROOT , and to install in Linux I use DESKTOP ?
