I use 2 machines, a desktop and a laptop, both running 8.10 and latest kernel (...27.11). They connect to internet via a wireless router. A few days ago I changed the essid of the router and since then network configuration doesn't work on either machine. I've set up the new essid and checked the "connect automatically" box - no joy. Only way I can connect is via a terminal using the instructions in this post : http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=571188
essid is not hidden, and I'm not using any encryption.
