I'm using exr files (HDR images basically), and gnome doesn't know how to produce thumbnail images for this format, so I have to open images to see what's inside.

How can I 'teach' my Ubuntu to build thumbnail images for a new file format ?

Thx!!

That would require some coding, unfortunately.

You can file a bug about it here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+filebug

Honnestly, I don't mind coding ;-)
