cgi 404 error

Hi all,

i am running lighttpd on ubuntu. i have got some cgi (C exec). all are working fine if i access from localhost. but i am getting 404 error if i access through IP address. and yes, the file permission is 777 for all the cgis.

please, any help would be greatly appreciated.
