A friend has some 8mm mp tapes, unfortunately they no longer have access to the camcorder they recorded them in. I have access to a Hi8 camcorder, will this camcorder playback 8mm mp tapes? This person lives 2 hours away and it wouldn't really make sense to let them use my Hi8 camcorder if it won't work. Thanks for the help.
