Update Manager works well for me under 8.10 except for one thing.

After saying that there was an update for Human Themes, I excepted the defaults and, along with many other upgrades, clicked install updates. Everything worked except for the fact that under Recommended updates, there is a blank check box next to human-theme and clicking on it with the mouse doesn't help cuz it doesn't do anything.

So, this one particular update just hangs around forever in Update Manager and never goes away.

Do I need to clean up the database for Update Manager from the command line?

Please help the danebramaged.

You can use synaptic to lock the version of any application. Open it up, search for the theme you wnat, and then go to Package > Lock Version. It will no longer show in the update notification.
