I have got a desktop pc, a laptop and an eee, and i would like to keep the configuration for openbox, vim and latex the same on all three systems. i change the configuration options quite often on all my systems and i'm getting tired of copying all those folders from and to my usb-stick all the time.

what's your solution for syncing your configuration files between different systems?

have you considered mounting directories like ~/ via NFS between your computers and just copy the desired files or make a script for it?

Do you have a personnal webserver or an ftp? You could store your config on these net space. Otherwise, maybe via SSH you could tranfert them ...

You could probably do it with Dropbox and links.
