I Already have Ubuntu, can I Upgrade?

Hi, weird question maybe, but I've been using Ubuntu 8.10 and I want to know if I can install Ubuntu Studio 8.10 without losing any information. Thanks.

If you want to install Ubuntu Studio, go to System-->Administration-->Synaptic Package Manager-->Edit-->Mark Packages by Task, and select the parts of Ubuntu Studio you want to install from the menu.
