and i'd like to try something different/unpredictable/...you name it
not necessarily related to computers but i wouldn't mind
so any recommendations?

Geocaching? It gets you outside, and you don't have to have a GPS to do it (some caches you can use Google Earth to find), though a GPS does help. :)
