Hello

I have just this minute finished installing Breezy 5.10 onto my ageing Toshiba latop and already feel a sense of joy at waving goodbye to the evil microsoft empire's *******... platform. Shoulda done it a long time ago ;)

I have had a fair amount of experience using unix at Uni - but now I am running Ubuntu with the J2SE 5.0 SDK and Netbeans, GCC Compiler, Open Office and Firefox. What more could I want??!!

Holiday greetings to all

I recently installed it on my gateway laptop and am loving it. Ubuntu and auto installer gives you almost everything you need. It is great. highly recommend it...two thumbs up! :D

Happy holidays to you too! :)

Ok, here is a Guide for Warty (Ubuntu 5.04) which also works for Breezy [Some of them don't) : http://ubuntuguide.org/

Now you will also want to check out Breezy Guide:
