Hello Guys I have just updated My Kubuntu 8.10 system to KDE 4.2. After the upgrade I have been shocked to find out that my apt-get is not working at all. The adept manager closes down automatically, while when using apt-get from command line the following message appears:
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
Please help me out in solving this problem!

did you run dpkg --configure -a from the terminal?

try it, and post an update.
