Hi,
I want to use Kate as my code editor, but I also want that:
1. I keep using Gnome as my primary desktop environment
2. I want KDE 4.2, coz I get to use Vi input mode in Kate (This mode is not available in older versions)
3. I don't want to install the complete kubuntu-desktop. I don't want all kde apps to get installed.
So what do I do?
Alternatively, can install the latest Kate(with Vi mode) on the kdelibs I have right now (4.1)??
Cheers,
jrh
