Appearance Preferances Error ?

Hi I have Ubuntu 8.10

Today I found that when I want to enter the "Appearance Preferences" I get This Long error mesage first.. then i enter the Appearance Preferences
whats wrong? :(

Go back to the login screen, options, session, gnome, change session. :p
