Hey

Remarkably hawsum
See? This is the greatness of the forums
I had a vague and uneasy feeling about not being able to contribute so I made a commitment to choose a forum and sift through to see where I could help. Because the Good Lord knows you don't want me giving command line advice
An Lo and Behold, someone comes along with a free, handy and very concise ebook (that I printed out at work using work paper and work ink, say sorry) that I can read this weekend
I have the Ubuntu Bible but at 700 pages it is too daunting to even start - I just use it as a reference for when I think I might know what the problem is.

This is great!

Thanks,
RAR

That's just terrific, I've checked it out -- very informative and well-written.

I also recommend the author's book Ubuntu Kung Fu. Well put together.

Don't know about best, that's a matter of opinion, but it is good and should be easy to follow for a beginner.
