Hello,
I feel that the 'Search' utility in Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex is not very good. There are files in my home folder that I know exist and which I try to get the search utility to find, but it just doesn't turn up after the search :o
I'm generally well organized with my files and I know what is where, but what if I have to search for something else, for e.g files belonging to the OS? Can I search with wild cards?
Is there a way I can make 'Search' more useful without getting Indexing to trash my HDD and eat my battery? What would be the ideal indexing settings for a laptop?
Thank You
