Alternate cd instalation

I am trying to install unbuntu with the alternate cd after the desktop one gives a display server error. Now using the alternate it gets about half way through installing the files when it tells me i need to do a media switch and put the Ibex unbuntu cd in the dtive but the drive is frozen and wont eject. I checked the cd and it is fine as far a i know, please help.

Might just be a bad burn. If you downloaded it through Bittorrent, then try burning it at a really slow speed (2x-4x). If you downloaded via http or ftp, make sure you check the md5. If the downloaded data is corrupt, then every disk you burn will be bad. Once checked, burn it as I mentioned before: slowly.
