cairo dock and panel

i trying to get rid of the gnome panel to make the cairo dock be the main dock on my desktop any help on doing this if its possible

Right click your panel and mark it to autohide. If your dock is on the bottom, then move the panel to the top so you do not accidentally bring it up. Or you can mark expand and show hide buttons, and move it off to right or left.
