Hello to all (first post)

I am new to Ubuntu and have been browsing the forums over this last week, and I just wanted to give a quick hello to everyone and introduce myself.

So, hello! I put Ubuntu on my Acer Aspire 5100 series to replace Vista and it has been working pretty well so far. I was especially pleased when I plugged my printer in and it was automatically installed within seconds without having to search for drivers. I like it enough that I am about to install it on my desktop that currently run XP. Should work pretty well I hope.

I hope to contribute to the community whenever I can. Thanks for enduring my first post and I hope to post again soon.
