it started on one machine and it is spreading ... ;) when I boot panels are not at those places that I left them at shutdown a day before. they tend to come together at random side of the screen. yes, I've checked "lock the panel position" ... it's not a big deal but just one more thing to do at the very start of a day. :) am I alone with this "problem" ... ?
update: today's update (kernel 2.6.27-11generic) fixed lot of stuff by removing ATI 8.561 driver out of the loop... ;) and with it it seems it fixed moving panels ... they are back to the state they were several days ago and now they are OK. some of the previous updates might have caused them to move around and items to move inside them, but now, without ati driver, they are OK.
