Hi everyone,
I have a usb wireless internet connection and i wanted to allow a friend, who is by the way connected to me through lan, to surf internet through that connection.
In windows i know a software named ccproxy which will set up a proxy server and allow certain ips to surf through it.
I wanted to know if there is some similar kind of package which will solve the cause.

Squid (http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/squid) is the package you are looking for.
Follow this guide (http://www.bgevolution.com/blog/the-fastest-squid-setup-guide/) to get going..
