My new machine is scheduled to be delivered Wednesday the 28th. :D:D I know that I have to move my present users' home directories to the new machine.

Do I have to create the accounts in the same order I did on the old machine?

They will be going from 32bit to 64 bit will this cause any problems?

I read in another thread a way to copy my package list from old to new is this a good idea?

My present and new machine will be running HH.

Thanks for any comments.

You remind me of me, i got a new pc recently and went from 32 to 64bit what you can do is back up your system to a usb hdd (if you have 1) and transfer docs, to note it is possible to use a 32bit os on 64 bit system.

Well I think I will give it a shot tomorrow, UPS doesn't get here until late. I'll install one user and see how it goes. I havae a lot of DVDs so I"ll use those.
Thanks.
