Hello!
I understand the Ubuntu Diskless concept, but was wondering if I could take it a step further and do the following
Have a repackaged Ubuntu CD boot from CD, and authenticate against a LDAP server through gdm, while loading the users profile, hence having their settings follow them from computer to computer.
Is this possible?
Sort of like a Roaming Profile for Windows.
