Delete pidgin-2.5.4?

I compiled the new version of Pidgin, pidgin-2.5.4, and it just didn't work. How can I delete the package now? I tried searching in Synaptic but didn't show up. :(

You can try downloading pidgin 2.5.4 from getdeb.net and maybe it will overwrite the compiled version. From there you should be able to simply remove via add/remove or synaptic. Here's a link to the getdeb version:

How did you install it? With checkinstall or sudo make install? or some other method?
