I've had a problem with GTK+ apps and tooltips for a long time now. My default system text colour is white (on a dark grey background). In Qt apps (as well as Firefox) tooltips appear as they would on any other system, black text on a yellowish background with a black border. This is perfectly acceptable. But GTK+ apps display their tooltips as white text on a yellowish background with a black border. This makes them completely unreadable.
I'm quite happy with black on yellow tooltips (they stand out quite nicely) so I want to know how I can force GTK+ apps to use black text in their tooltips, without affecting anything else.
