I have Windows XP service Pack 3 and Kubuntu 8.10 living happily on the same hard drive, but I'm having a problem with my computer locking up when I boot from the Windows partition. This only started in the last couple of weeks. I know it's got nothing to do with the dual boot. I suspect it has to do with the fact that that partition has Windows on it, and Windows just does crap like that occasionally. :)
Anywho...
I'm this >< close to just reinstalling Windows on that partition, but when I do it's going to overwrite the boot info and kill off my dual boot. How do I re-install grub without re-installing the whole linux partition?
