Hi
Can you please let me know which version of glib is included in ubunut 8.10?
I want to download some software and I have following options for these two software:

Pack 1:
# Linux Installer (x86, glibc 2.2)
# Linux Installer (x86, glibc 2.3)

pack 2:

# Linux TAR (x86, dynamic glibc-2.3)
# Linux TAR (x86, dynamic glibc-2.3, icc)

Can you please let me know which items I should get? I have 32 bit Operating system installed

Thanks

As Ubuntu is based on the Debian system they have copied Debain's nice web front end to the packages available for a specific release. This can be found at http://packages.ubuntu.com/

Then you just search for the package in question. http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=glib&searchon=names&suite=intrepid&section=all

Then click on the distribution below the package for more information. I believe this is the one you are looking for http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/libglib2.0-data
