Can't move my windows

I was playing around with my desktop definitions, and something went wrong. Now my windows don't have the upper part of the frame, and I cannot move them with the mouse. From another user, when I login, everything is normal. I'm planning to copy the
~/mike/.gnome
with all its files and ride over mine. Is it a good idea? How do I solve this problem in a different way?

What exactly was you doing?
i`m using emerald as window decorator, it`ll override gnome manager so you will be able to move your windows again and have rich features
