i have a toshiba laptop. i installed mac osx86 on a partition i made with partition magic. it is a "Type AF" whatever that means. i like osx but, cant use wireless networking with my built in card, so not useful for me.
i have decided to install ubuntu, but not really sure what to do with that type AF partition. i need to format it but not sure if it will mess with my booting as it is. i know i had to do something to make windows let me choose what to boot to but cant remember what i did.
i guess what im asking is if i just install ubuntu using wubi will it let me replace/format the osx partition with a linux one? and will it automatically put needed files to choose what to boot to on computer boot up.
