romanmain@roman-desktop:~$ sudo mount 192.168.0.105:/mnt/sdc /mnt/sdcmain
mount.nfs: mount to NFS server 'rpcbind' failed: RPC Error: Program not registered
mount.nfs: internal error

the computer being mounted to = 192.168.0.100

heres my fstab (192.168.0.100)

# /etc/fstab: static file system information.

Try this:

sudo apt-get install portmap nfs-common
sudo mount -a

Let me know what that does and we'll proceed.

Let's get a couple more bits of information:

Output of the following (from the server machine)
cat /etc/exports
And then for kicks try this, also from the server machine
sudo /etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server restart

And then try mounting from your pc again.

FYI - great tutorial on NFS setup is here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=249889)
