While doing an update of Ubuntu, there was an error message displayed (having to do with application vaincre). Now when I reboot the PC, but instead of Linux starting a blank screen with the word GRUB appears in the upper left hand corner. Can someone tell me how to fix this? I have a CD where I can mount the linux partition.
