The Philadelphia subteam wants to organize an event for the Global Bug Jam on Feburary 21st.
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/GlobalBugJam
We're currently looking for a location.
We would need:
- Space for 10-15 people
- Internet access (just wifi is fine)
- Ability to order/bring and eat food
We would like:
- To drink beer
Thoughts?

Hi all!
Things are coming together nicely for this jam, just wanted to update the thread with a few things:
To be ready for tomorrow (it's okay if you don't have time, we'll walk
people through these steps as needed tomorrow):
Register an account with launchpad.net if you haven't already
If you want to dive into fixing and handling bugs for jaunty and aren't running jaunty, check out this page for other options on how you can get a jaunty environment: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/UsingDevelopmentReleases
And as always, resources we mentioned on the wiki page for this event: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PennsylvaniaTeam/EventsTeam/PhiladelphiaFeb2009BugJam
We'll be doing an intro session and working with folks who drop in all
day to get them going.
I've gone ahead and added the 3 confirmed people whose launchpad names I knew to the bugjam event page, so if I missed you please go ahead and add your name at some point (could be today, could be tomorrow at the event):
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Events
jedijf is graciously bringing goodies (including oreo cake!) for the event and we'll be ordering some pizza in the middle of the afternoon, so there will be food and snacks :)
Finally - ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME. You don't have to know anything about coding or bugs to attend. Want to bring your laptop and hang out with Ubuntu people, eat some free pizza and learn a few new things? Come join us!
