Hi
I want to get a linux administration certification but I do not know which certification I should follow.

I want it to be accepted by industry and help me with finding job as a J2EE developer.

thanks

Depends. Here, Novell and RedHat certs are cream of the crop, but Linux+ cert from CompTIA is also valued. Ubuntu certs are usually bypassed, from some reason.

The most well know is probably the red hat certification, but try posting the various certifications on job boards, that might tell you what employers are looking for in your area.

Just curious - have you met people with the Ubuntu (or LPIC, for that matter) cert?

Me, and nobody recognizes it, even though it is a credible certification.

The server market is dominated by RH and Novell.
