Hello,
I am brand new to ubuntu and linux. I installed about 3hours ago on a used xp system 3.0ghz pentium4 that I bought off ebay.
I am trying to get my brother mfc 7420 to work with the new setup. I found a link to the debian files from another post and downoaded the proper file and installed with no problem. My printer shows up in the dialogue box but when I click print nothing happens. It's as if the usb is unplugged(it's not).
I'm guessing it's some simple step I missed but I don't know what.
