Hello ,
i'm new to the whole linux world ...
i installed ubuntu and to make it direct to the point ...
when i go to http://localhost the page from /var/www/index.html get called .
i installed php and apache and i added a test php page but when i call that page php is not executed .
when i changed the port in apache configuration to 78 it , php got executed .
so i think there was something running on port 80 .
do ubuntu install something by default on that port ?
any idea what might cause this ?
even when i unistalled apache the http://localhost is still working .
and pointing to var/www
how can i fix that ?
