Howdy Doody,
Recently I installed Ubuntu and am slowly learning the ins and outs of the system. GNOME works without too many issues; but I would prefer to use KDE. However, networking seems to be an issue with it.
It cannot detect any wireless networks present, and seems to have a pitiful selection of networking tools to manually tap into it. The network is running from a Windows computer, but GNOME picks up on it no worries.
If anyone could steer me in the direction of a solution, I would be greatly indebted.
