Belkin hire people to write fake 5/5 reviews on Amazon. Dirty business.

I have noticed some people are doing this. Once I saw a review of some product appeared both in Play.com and Amazon.co.uk even without changing a word. It was written by a same person with same username.

So we have to be careful with reviews on online shops.:D

I hate my Belkin wireless adapter, and it comes as no surprise to me that the morons behind it are involved in something like this.

That's not really surprising. Years ago I used to write Amazon reviews for fun, and I started getting free DVDs from Disney and Amazon so that I would review them.

I take anything I read on Amazon with a serious grain of salt -- because they're user reviews, they aren't held to any standard and are too often ill-informed or some with some agenda.

I read an article about companies doing this a weeks or so back. So not really surprising anymore

Why am I not surprised? I never liked Belkin anyhow.

Lies, damn lies, and product reviews...

I'd rephrase your last sentence as simply "So we have to be careful with reviews." Online or offline, if there's a way for companies to get a biased review, then sooner or later they'll find it.
