I configured with a life CD my USB stick (1MB) in order to get a persistent installation by using this manual:

After intallation routine, I rebooted from USB and Ubuntu works fine. Just it is not in persistant modus. (example: I create a folder on the desktop and it is gone after reeboot.)
Anybody can help? (please explain easy, since I am a bloody beginner)
