I am attempting to use QDVD.
But it is simply not working. I am seriously trying to use linux more and more, but alot of these issues keep coming up where I get tired of it and hit the button on my KVM and go directly back to my MS box and begin doing in immediately.
I am not that into gaming anymore, but have turned my sights to coding/re-coding/transcoding video/audio files. But if I cannot get these types of programs working under linux what is the use in keeping it...

That's all good and it's probably qdvd's fault.

But you have no chance succeeding in Linux if you don't post actual error messages.

devede is much easier than qdvd. it's in the repos. just choose the video files (any format video file), choose ntsc or pal, and click a button, wait, and you have a dvd iso ready to burn.
