Hello,
I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 Lts Hardy Heron desktop 32 bit,
on a multi-boot system:I'm not able to get on the internet
with it as yet.

What I want to know is, how can I tell which drive Ubuntu
is installed on? Is there a way through Ubuntu's terminal,
that I can access this information?

I have a few diagnostic utilities; including Windows,
each displaying conflicting results; none of them
showing the name Ubuntu, so it's difficult to know.

If yes, can you show me how to do it?
If I'm in the wrong forum, please excuse me.
Where are those quick reply icons?

Thank you,

taurus

Do you even check your thread because you created one and I replied it with a command? Now, 3 minutes later you created another one.

Open a terminal and type sudo fdisk -l. This will show you the partitions that are on your harddrive. As for the quick reply icon, you need to be logged in first. I broke my head trying to figure that out when I was new to this forum. :\
