After upgrade to ubuntu 9.04 system is slow

Hi I upgraded to ubuntu 9.04 from 8.10. System is slow and it is visible mainly on openning internet sites.

r-c@r-c-desktop:~$ cat /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost r-c-desktop
127.0.1.1 r-c-desktop


I upgraded in hope to solve problem with my printer hp 1018, but it also doesnt help(I am using hp-setup).

Can you help what can be wrong?

Report those problems on launchpad!
Check your DNS servers, maybe the configuration changed?

where is best to report that bugs, I just findl launchpad for versions till 8.10. But I have now 9.04

Did I miss something? I thought 8.1 was the newest version.

This is pre-productive version, not-stable. I installed it for problems in 8.10, mainly with printer hoping it is solved in 9.04. But not. Also the new system is much slower, overally. About 3 times, without any configuration change.
