I have seen a number of posts but none seem to have any answer on how to fix it.

Whats with the IGN? And I can never get updates from proposed for some reason. I changed the repo already and all other things.

Any help is appreciated

They are ignored as there is no en_US translation of package description files. The reason for this is because for some reason en_US is the "original language".

In other words, nothing's wrong.

Only enable proposed if you need to test a package in it.

I can never get any updates from proposed. Yes, wanted to install something from proposed. Anything I have to do specifically?
