I've just made a Live DVD for Ubuntu Studio 8.10 . I'm gonna install it alongside this regular Ubuntu 8.10 distribution.

I'm assuming that when I boot from the CD, I'll get installation screens similar to the regular ones? And I'll be able to set the paartitions up?

And I was wondering, what would be a sensible size of partition for regular Ubuntu and Ubuntu Studio?

Ubuntu Studio installer is a bit different compared to standard Ubuntu.
You just have to be a bit careful when you enter manual partitioning.
Don't mess up your HDD.

Size: Depends what you gonna do with it. I think 4GB is the minimum
officially recommened size. I would add some headroom.

If you have a huge amount of data, you can put them on a different partition anyhow.
