View Full Version : [ubuntu] Can't get adobe flash-player

I recently installed ubuntu on my notebook and i cannot get adobe flash player on it for some reason. I tried the .deb version for ubuntu from the website and it says: "Error: Wrong architecture 'i386'".

what do I need to do to fix this?

please help.

Are you running 64-bit Ubuntu?

No i'm pretty sure that i'm using 32-bit ubuntu because my notebook is 32-bit, but I might of mixed up my cd's, I also have a 64-bit.

Try installing the Ubuntu Restricted Extras package:


sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

Now with Cut and Paste convenience!

K so i typed in the command and the sun micro-systems thing pop-up, and i have to like accept the terms of agreement and It wont let me press Ok or anything.

Use the Tab key to highlight 'ok,' then press Enter.
