View Full Version : [kubuntu] Why the fart is there no longer via a snd driver to load?

I followed the comprehensive sound instructions and reinstalled as it said but I have no snd-... to modprobe.

What happened to my sound? It always worked before. It does not work in the last kernel either.

Sorry, I'm stumped. Is something going on with built in via sound?

I recompiled, it works and I should not need to do that!

I guess you guys wonder, why most people haven't heard of Ubuntu.

Keep in mind that on my other test computer, I had to drop back to Hardy; from Intrepid and it's beta KDE4, for sane computing.

Only the path of LEAST resistance will bring NEEDED users. What's going on?!

I had one lady that was happily on Hardy (by me), accidentally upgrade to intrepid. That should be idiot proof when beta software is in the new "Release".
