An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.

Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following error message:

You have an incorrect line in your sources.list that needs to be fixed.
Can you post your sources.list.
Open a terminal (Applications>Accessories>Terminal) and type:

cat /etc/apt/sources.list

Also to get security updates remove the # from in front of these lines that start with #deb
